Chair and open to all homeowners, - approved with M/S/C. Assistant to
Treasurer
M/S/C
Approval to have Virginia Murphy be assistant to treasurer, but not to be a
member of the board. Zoning/Landmark
Status
Pat
Mosberg, from Larry Reid’s office states SV is not historic district
qualified, but IS landmark dist. qualified. Plans to qualify for a landmark
district involves 1) definition of a landmark district 2) understand pros/cons
3) meet with reps for HOA to do survey 4) write proposal. Hopefully, this
designation would make the city more aware, consistent and enforceable re:
housing plans. Sally to talk to city member re: def, and survey. Design Review
Committee
Committee
to be headed by Sally. Purpose: to better define the review process as explained
in the CC&Rs, and to specify the definition ‘within the character of the
village’. Open to all homeowners. Meetings to be announced later. Homeless camp
San
Leandro Police had been contacted, and cleared out some of the homeless at the
freeway ramp. Oakland Police had also seen the encampment, and had given out
citations. Cal Trans is to put a fence up. Unknown when the fence will be put
up. Easter Egg Hunt
It
was M/S/C to approve $150 to be taken from donations, not dues, for Suzanne
Otto’s annual Easter egg hunt. Park signs
Suggestion
made to place request in Crier for donated materials to make park signs.
Determine where and when to place signs. Don to call OPD to decide appropriate
placement. Dog Bite
SVH
neighbor, Don Fuller, states he was bit by neighbor’s pit bull and requests a
letter sent to the landowner of the house. Board members agreed. |
