Board members
present: Charlie, Don, Sally, and Gail
Approval of
Minutes
M/S/C approved min of
May 6
Scheduled for Next
Meeting
Sally has arranged for a member of the Historic Preservation Section of the
City of Oakland, to talk about the process of designating SV as a landmark
historic district.
Homeless
1-½ weeks ago, some homeless people had been spotted at a hole in the fence
that was put up at their old encampment site at the end of Marlow to Estudillo.
Sally will notify the Community Outreach Coordinator.
Design Review
Has met and wants to pursue designating SV as a landmark district.
Crier
We do have someone to do the Crier. Charlie vol. to check on how the crier
is composed (template, disk?)
Web Site
Some comments have been received that the web site has not been updated
since November. Gail will talk to Carol DeLozier re: updating the site.
Budget
It was decided to leave the budget the same as last years, with the addition
that the picnic is contingent on the success of the garage sale. The person, who
headed the garage sale last year, will not be available this year. It is
questionable at this time if we will have a garage sale. Charlie will write a
note for the Crier, asking for volunteers for the picnic and the garage sale.
Old Records
It was suggested that a small storage unit be found at low cost for the
storage of the old records for SV.
Bookkeeper
continuing?
Gail to ask Jen Frick if she is to continue as bookkeeper. It was rumored
that she was thinking of quitting.
Adjourned at 7:50 pm.
