SVHOA Board Meeting - January  24, 2004

The Board members discussed and decided that the following people shall fill the following positions within the Board of Directors:

President - Don Melcher
Vice-President - Don Fuller
Secretary / Treasurer - Chris Barker
Plans - Tim Herron
Parks - Jarrod Jayne

Meeting was called to order by Don Melcher at approximately 11:45 am. Every Board Member was present.

Sheffieldvillage.org domain name registration
Carole DeLozier has forwarded a copy of the bill to renew the web site domain name in the amount of $175.00 for 10 years. Don Melcher moved that the Board approve this expense, seconded by Jarrod Jayne. Vote was unanimous in favor.

Sheffield Village Collection Policy
Chris Barker submitted a proposed collection policy which documents our process for collecting past due assessments. This policy will be mailed with the annual assessment invoices this year. Motion to approve this policy was made by Chris Barker and seconded by Don Melcher. Vote was unanimous in favor.

EBMUD Water Bill
A copy of the latest water bill was given to Jarrod Jayne, Parks Chair for high bill investigation with EBMUD.

Crier Distribution
The Board will ask Jennifer Yuen to mail Criers to absentee owners.

Certificate of Deposit
Jen Frick reminded the Board that the CD at USBank would mature on February 11. We have 10 days from that date to reinvest it or it will roll over for another year. Chris Barker took the action item to research CD yields and report back to the Board.

Block Captain Revival Project
Don Fuller agreed to take the action item to revive the Block Captain program in the Village. He will approach Denise Hodges and Rich Palmer to see if they are interested in helping.
